Remember when you used to have a pen pot next to a pad of paper by the phone on the hall table? Mine always used to house a random crochet hook, spare buttons, toenail clippers and a bit of fluff. I have so many pen pots now as you might imagine. They are usually a mug minus a handle or painted tin cans but maybe it’s time to upgrade? Useful for your pencil crayons, toothbrushes, your pound coin collection or even as plant pots! I love to give cuttings or a potted bulb as a present instead of a bunch of flowers when I get invited round for tea.
